Overview
The rotating plate is a La FactorY exclusive: our Golf 8R and BMW M3 G80 GoFast vehicles, and the exclusives with a rotating plate we have made. YF-PlateFlip was designed for them and only works with them, which is why it is offered at a low price. It is useless without one of our vehicles.
Without the script, the plate of our GoFast vehicles only flips when stopped: you have to stop, flip the plate, then drive off again, which makes no sense in the middle of a chase. With YF-PlateFlip, it flips at any speed.
- At any speed, even when accelerating mid-rotation.
- Reversible mid-rotation: press again and the plate goes back from where it is.
- Synced between all players in range, including those who arrive later: officers do see the hidden plate.
- Secure: only the driver can flip the plate, checked by the server.
- Standalone: no framework, no database.

Use the latest version of our GoFast vehicles, downloaded from the Cfx.re portal. When a new GoFast with a rotating plate comes out, its model name will be listed here, to add to Config.Vehicles.
Exclusives
Did you buy an exclusive vehicle with a rotating plate from La FactorY? It is compatible with YF-PlateFlip, but since it only exists on your server, it is not set up in advance: add it to the config yourself, it takes two minutes.
Find the model name
It is the name used to spawn the vehicle, in lowercase. It is given to you when your exclusive is delivered; it is also the name of the
.yftfile in thestreamfolder of its resource, without the extension. Example:myexclusive.yft→myexclusive.Open the config

This list only accepts vehicles delivered by La FactorY with a rotating plate. Any other vehicle added here will not turn.

Installation
Install your GoFast vehicles
Your La FactorY GoFast vehicles must already be installed and working (see Installing a vehicle).
Drop the resource
Get YF-PlateFlip from the Cfx.re portal (see Getting your purchases). Copy the
YF-PlateFlipfolder into your resources without renaming it: the protected version is tied to that name.Start the resource

Get in a GoFast, drive, hold H: the plate flips.
The folder names above are examples: keep those of your vehicle resources.
In game

Only the driver can flip the plate.
Each player can pick their key in Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM, on the line labelled with Config.KeyLabel. The choice is saved in their game and overrides the config.
Configuration
config.lua is the only editable file of the resource. It ships ready to use: nothing to change for our current GoFast vehicles.

Diagnostic
plateflip_diag, typed in game by a staff member sitting in a vehicle, writes a status line to the server console. Paste it into your Discord ticket: it lets support see right away what is wrong.
Troubleshooting
It does not work on another vehicle
That is expected: YF-PlateFlip only works with La FactorY vehicles with a rotating plate (GoFast and exclusives). See Compatible vehicles.
Nothing happens when holding H
Check that you are the driver (not a passenger) of a La FactorY Golf 8R or BMW M3 G80 GoFast, and that the key was not changed in the FiveM key bindings.
A [YF-PlateFlip] error shows in the console
The vehicle resource is not started, or is out of date. Check that it is in your server.cfg and use the latest version of our GoFast vehicles. If the error persists, open a ticket with the plateflip_diag line.
The headlights switch at the same time
The player releases too early: a press shorter than a quarter of a second is left to the headlights. Just hold the key.
The resource does not start
OneSync is disabled. Enable it in your server.cfg (set onesync on) or in txAdmin.
"You lack the required entitlement"
The resource is not linked to the Cfx.re account of your server key, or the folder was renamed. Download it from the Cfx.re portal with the account that bought it (see Getting your purchases) and keep the name YF-PlateFlip.
